This is Feel Good Guru's comprehensive 4-week cooking course. Looking to cook more at home, make the switch to a plant-based diet and don’t know where to begin? This class will cover knife skills, basic cooking techniques, guide to healthy eating pantry staples, and in-depth instruction of various recipes.

Here is a sample layout of what the classes will cover.

Week 1 (intro) 1.5 hours

Knife skills, pantry staples and substitutes, simple salad toppings

Tofu "feta:, tempeh "bacon", kale chips, bean & seed-based dips, vegan "parmesan"

Week 2 (making a meal) 2 hours

How to make your plant based meals healthy but also filling and delicious 

bean burger, healthy homemade mayo, vegetable sides

Week 3 (hearty soups, sauces and salads) 2.5 hours

Creamy pasta sauces, lentil bolognese, chili, kathmandu stew, caesar dressing, epic salad

week 4 (sweet goodbye) 1.5 hours

Desserts, cakes, cookies

Cheesecake in a jar,  protein packed cookies, black bean brownie

This is a very hands on instructive course in which attendants will be cutting, cooking, baking and tasting along the way and will take a portion of everything home.

Class size is limited to 10 participants.

Our Culinary Plant Camp is led by FGG's head chef, Rami Tarabichi.

"I have been cooking for some of the best chefs Toronto has to offer and honing my culinary skills for the last 12 years. After 5 years of being vegan and living a whole foods plant based lifestyle I have come to understand the value of simple ingredients and simple techniques. I aim to make veganism more approachable and accessible for everyone, and that is what I try to convey in the food I make."
